What is included in this course?

This engine control unit reprogramming course covers topics such as:

Use of machinery to extract the necessary information from the engine control unit.
Methods that can be carried out such as readings and writings in the ECU via JTAG wired serial communication, the BOOT, BDM port, by Bench/GPT or through the OBD diagnostic connector
Edit the files extracted from the ECU with software such as ECM Titanium, RACE EVO (Dimsport) and EVC's excellent WinOLS 5.
Analysis of cartographies, modification of maps according to possible settings, increase in power and optimization of anti-pollution systems.

What tools will be used?

The course covers the use of professional automotive diagnostic machinery (Autel, Thinkcar, Launch, Otofix) as well as hardware for reading and writing eeprom memories, flash memories and microprocessors such as Motorola, Infineon Tricore, Renesas, among others.
