PRACTICAL TRAINING COURSE ON DIAGNOSIS, ELECTRONICS AND REPAIR OF CONTROL UNITS AUTOMOTIVE – MODULE I

DURATION: 32 hours – Theory + Practices guided by trainers

PRACTICAL WORK STATIONS: every 2 students

VENUES: MÁLAGA / MADRID / BARCELONA

Goals

It is the objective of the course:

- Instill basic concepts in unit electronics in technicians

- Get them to recognize the components, their functions, measurements and assembly

- Ensure that they can correctly diagnose unit breakdowns and that they know

test and replace components

Requirements

- Know the operation of a diesel/gasoline injection system

- Have knowledge of mechanics and practice in repair

Course content

Lesson 1:

- Basic concepts in analog electronics

- Active and passive components

- Assembly on trainers (breadboard) – GUIDED PRACTICE

- Minimum 5 practical assemblies (among which, some oriented towards

checking and verification of actuators) – GUIDED PRACTICE

- Pre-assembly of the curve tracer for use with the oscilloscope

Lesson 2:

- Checking the source block and regulation

- Internal analysis of a unit

- Search and verification of drivers and transistors

Lesson 3:

- Memory analysis (flash-serial-eeprom)

- Microcontrollers and Microprocessors in UCE / BSI / AIRBAG / TABLE

- Unit demobilization technique (by software or hardware - emulators)

- Adaptation technique for exchange/scrap units (cloning)

(BDM/OBD/BOOT) – New Transdata – Adaptation by PASS THRU with CARDAQ

Lesson 4:

- Practice on the unit; search and check for faults in the ECU – PRACTICE

- Connecting the ECU for checking outside the vehicle - Pinning – PRACTICE

- Location of components, tools and information on the web
