BNP Positioning Structure for ECU reading/programming.

the kit DIMA BNP by Sports size It is a tool that allows you to make all the connections between the ECU and the New Trasdata without the need to solder any wires.

The kit consists of:

  • 2 “L” metal supports
  • 1 transparent perforated platform
  • 1 allen key to adjust the supports
  • 2 platform retaining screws (with round knurled head)
  • 4 needle holder drumsticks
  • 4 needles
  • 4 connection cables with banana terminals
  • 3 cables with alligator clips and free end

Independent structure to avoid welding operations on the ECU board: provided with 4 rods (with needle tips) for contact on microprocessor pins or communication ports to read and program ECUs without the need for soldering. Ideal to use together with K34DIMA (metallic structure) for ECUs that require contact with DIMA adapters and other extra contact(s) (pins)

 

DIMA BNP kit: instructions for use

Depending on the type of application, the transparent perforated platform can be mounted at two heights. Either with the transparent perforated platform mounted on the shorter profiles of the metal "L" brackets or mounted on the longer profiles (as shown in the image below). To make the connections, it is necessary that the needle holder rods are correctly connected to the needles so that they exert correct pressure. Each rod must be inserted into a hole so that it is as perpendicular as possible and as close to the ECU motherboard.

There is optional drumstick kit + Needles consisting of 4 needle holder drumsticks + 4 needles, available as reference K34ACD_01.

 

The DIMA BNP can be used alone with New Trasdata or combining it with the classic platform DIMA as shown in the following image:

Depending on the connections needed, needle holder drumsticks Metal can be connected together by using cables with banana plugs. The following images are examples of different connections:

USE: It is recommended to pay close attention when placing the needles and needle holder sticks, avoid shocks or vibrations on the support surface during all reading and/or writing operations. This type of connection can be very convenient, but if it does not work correctly it can cause damage to the ECU or the components of the DIMA BNP kit.

POCOS PASOS Y MUY SENCILLOS PARA ESTAR OPERATIVOS:

New Trasdata permite efectuar la lectura y la reprogramación del contenido entero de las unidades de control: microprocesador (CPU), flash Eprom y EEprom de serie.

Así, aun en caso de bloqueo se puede restablecer en todo momento la unidad de control con las condiciones originales (back-up).

Esta herramienta, además, realiza automáticamente los cálculos necesarios (checksum) para el funcionamiento correcto del vehículo.


Una plataforma especial de aluminio y una serie de adaptadores específicos permiten efectuar todas las conexiones a la centralita, sin necesidad de realizar o deshacer soldaduras.

 En casos especificos es posible efectuar operaciones de lectura/escritura sin siquiera abrir la centralita.
